Samsung & LG Smart TV Setup
Complete guide for Samsung Tizen and LG webOS Smart TVs
Important Information
Samsung (Tizen OS) and LG (webOS) Smart TVs have closed operating systems that don't support standard Android APK files. You'll need to use apps available in their respective app stores or use the MAC-based activation method.
What You'll Need
- Samsung or LG Smart TV (2017 or newer recommended)
- Stable internet connection
- Your PiqTV subscription credentials
- A computer or phone to activate the app (for MAC-based apps)
Samsung Smart TV Setup
Step 1: Install an IPTV App
- Press the Home button on your remote
- Navigate to Apps
- Select the Search icon
- Search for "IBO Player" or "Smart IPTV"
- Select the app and click Install
- Open the app after installation
Step 2: Get Your MAC Address
- Open the IPTV app on your TV
- The app will display a MAC Address on screen
- Write down this MAC address (format: XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX)
Step 3: Activate Your Playlist
- On your computer or phone, go to the app's activation website
- Enter your MAC Address
- Enter your M3U playlist URL (provided by PiqTV)
- Click Send or Add Playlist
- Return to your TV and restart the app
- Your channels should now load automatically
LG Smart TV Setup
Step 1: Install an IPTV App
- Press the Home button on your remote
- Open the LG Content Store
- Search for "IBO Player" or "SS IPTV"
- Select the app and click Install
- Launch the app once installed
Step 2: Get Your Device ID
- Open the IPTV app
- Note the MAC Address or Device ID shown on screen
Step 3: Upload Your Playlist
- Visit the app's activation website on your computer or phone
- Enter your device's MAC Address
- Paste your M3U playlist URL from PiqTV
- Submit and wait for confirmation
- Restart the app on your TV
- Channels will load automatically

App not in store?
Some apps may not be available in all regions. Try searching for alternative apps or consider using an external streaming device.
Playlist not loading?
Make sure you entered the correct MAC address and M3U URL. Restart the app after uploading your playlist.
Channels buffering?
Check your internet speed. Smart TV apps may have limited codec support - an external device often provides better performance.
