iOS Setup Guide

What You'll Need

• Apple device (Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, or Mac)
• Apple ID to download apps from App Store
• Stable internet connection
• Your PiqTV subscription credentials

iPhone & iPad Setup

Step 1: Download the App

1. Open the App Store on your device
2. Search for "Smarters Player Lite"
3. Tap Get to download (it's free)
4. Wait for installation to complete
5. Open the app

Step 2: Configure Your Account

1. Accept the Terms of Service
2. Select Login with Xtream Codes API (Recommended)
3. Enter any name for your profile (e.g., "PiqTV")
4. Enter your Username
5. Enter your Password
6. Enter the Server URL
7. Tap Add User
8. Wait for channels to load

Step 3: Start Watching

1. Select Live TV from the main menu
2. Browse channel categories
3. Tap any channel to start streaming
4. Use the EPG (TV Guide) to see what's on

Apple TV Setup

Step 1: Install the App

1. On your Apple TV, open the App Store
2. Search for "Smarters Player Lite" or "IPTV Smarters"
3. Select the app and click Get
4. Wait for download and installation

Step 2: Add Your IPTV Service

1. Open the app on Apple TV
2. Select Add New User
3. Choose Xtream Codes API
4. Use the Apple TV remote to enter your credentials
5. Enter Username, Password, and Server URL
6. Select Add User

Tip: Use the Apple TV Remote app on your iPhone to type credentials more easily.

Mac Setup

Option 1: Using VLC (Free)

1. Download VLC for Mac from videolan.org
2. Install VLC
3. Open VLC and go to File > Open Network
4. Paste your M3U playlist URL
5. Click Open to start streaming

Option 2: Using IINA (Free, Mac-native)

1. Download IINA from iina.io or the Mac App Store
2. Open IINA
3. Go to File > Open URL
4. Paste your M3U playlist URL
5. Press Enter to start streaming

Option 3: iOS App on Mac (M1/M2 Macs)

1. Open the App Store on your Mac
2. Search for "Smarters Player Lite"
3. Look for the iPhone/iPad app version
4. Install and configure as described above

Recommended Apps for iOS

AirPlay to Apple TV

You can also stream from your iPhone/iPad to Apple TV using AirPlay:

1. Make sure your iPhone/iPad and Apple TV are on the same WiFi network
2. Open your IPTV app and start playing a channel
3. Tap the AirPlay icon (rectangle with triangle)
4. Select your Apple TV from the list
5. The stream will appear on your TV
