Amazon Firestick Setup
Complete guide to install and configure IPTV on your Amazon Firestick or Fire TV
What You'll Need
- Amazon Firestick or Fire TV device
- Stable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps recommended)
- Your PiqTV subscription credentials
Step 1: Enable Developer Options
First, you need to enable installation from unknown sources to sideload the IPTV app.
- From the Firestick home screen, go to Settings (gear icon)
- Navigate to My Fire TV (or Device & Software on newer models)
- Select About
- Highlight your Fire TV Stick name and press the select button 7 times rapidly
- You'll see a message: "You are now a developer"
- Go back and select the newly appeared Developer Options
- Turn ON Apps from Unknown Sources
- If available, also enable ADB Debugging
Step 2: Install the Downloader App
The Downloader app allows you to download and install APK files directly on your Firestick.
- Return to the Home screen
- Click the Search icon (magnifying glass)
- Type "Downloader" using the on-screen keyboard
- Select the Downloader app (orange icon by AFTVnews)
- Click Download or Get to install
- Wait for installation to complete
Step 3: Grant Installation Permissions
- Go to Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options
- Select Install unknown apps
- Find Downloader in the list and set it to ON
Step 4: Download Your IPTV App
Now you can download and install your preferred IPTV player app.
- Open the Downloader app
- On first launch, allow any requested permissions
- In the URL field, enter the download link provided by PiqTV support
- Click Go to start the download
- Once downloaded, click Install
- After installation, click Open to launch the app
- You can delete the APK file to save space
Step 5: Configure Your IPTV Service
Enter your PiqTV credentials to start streaming.
- Open your IPTV app
- Select Add New User or Xtream Codes API
- Enter a name for your profile (e.g., "PiqTV")
- Enter your Username (provided by PiqTV)
- Enter your Password (provided by PiqTV)
- Enter the Server URL (provided by PiqTV)
- Click Add User or Login
- Wait for channels to load and start streaming!

Troubleshooting
App won't install?
Make sure "Apps from Unknown Sources" is enabled in Developer Options and Downloader has install permissions.
Buffering issues?
Check your internet speed. Use a wired ethernet connection if possible for best performance.
Login failed?
Double-check your credentials. Make sure the server URL starts with http:// and has no typos.
