What You'll Need
- MAG Box (MAG 254, 256, 322, 324, 349, 351, 424, 524, etc.)
- Ethernet cable or WiFi connection (wired recommended)
- Your PiqTV Portal URL and MAC address
Supported MAG Models
This guide works with all Infomir MAG devices including:
- MAG 254, MAG 256, MAG 257
- MAG 322, MAG 324, MAG 349, MAG 351
- MAG 420, MAG 424, MAG 425
- MAG 520, MAG 522, MAG 524
Step 1: Connect Your MAG Box
- Connect your MAG Box to your TV using an HDMI cable
- Connect the power adapter
- Connect an ethernet cable for best performance (or configure WiFi)
- Power on the device and wait for it to boot
Step 2: Find Your MAC Address
You'll need to provide your MAC address to PiqTV support for activation.
- When the MAG Box boots, the main portal screen appears
- Press the SETUP or SET button on your remote
- Go to System Settings > Network
- Your MAC Address will be displayed (format: 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX)
- Write down this MAC address and send it to PiqTV support
Step 3: Configure the Portal
Once your MAC address is registered with PiqTV, configure the portal URL.
- Press SETUP or SET on your remote
- Navigate to System Settings
- Select Servers
- Select Portals
- In Portal 1 Name, enter: PiqTV
- In Portal 1 URL, enter the URL provided by PiqTV support
- Leave Portal 2 fields empty (unless you have a second service)
- Press OK to save
Step 4: Restart and Connect
- Go back to the main menu
- Select System Settings > Restart Portal
- Or simply unplug the power, wait 10 seconds, and plug back in
- The MAG Box will restart and connect to PiqTV
- Your channels will load automatically
STB Emulator Setup (Android)
STB Emulator lets you use MAG portal on Android devices.
- Download STB Emulator from Google Play Store
- Open the app and note the MAC Address displayed
- Send this MAC address to PiqTV support for activation
- Tap the screen and go to Settings (top right)
- Select Profiles
- Tap Add Profile
- Enter a name (e.g., "PiqTV")
- Enter the Portal URL provided by support
- Save and restart the app
Troubleshooting
Authorization Failed?
Your MAC address may not be registered yet. Contact PiqTV support with your MAC address.
Portal not loading?
Double-check the Portal URL. Make sure it starts with http:// and has no typos or extra spaces.
No internet connection?
Check your ethernet cable or WiFi settings. Try restarting your router and MAG Box.
Channels buffering?
Use a wired ethernet connection instead of WiFi for best performance. Check your internet speed.
